Last night we had a short wedding ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lacey, WA. Very nice. The late hour lent a certain character to the outdoor shots. I’ll be adding more to this series as the days go by.

Our wedding yesterday with Carolyn and Matthew was at the New Heart Worship Center, a spacious facility than comfortably seated more than 300 guests for the ceremony and reception. What impressed me was that Carolyn and Matthew did not take for granted even one of them. They made it a mission to greet every table and allow guests to be photographed together with them.

You wouldn’t think a simple wedding cake could look so beautiful, but I was struck by the pattern of sunlight falling upon Alison’s cake. The venetian blinds filtered the light in a most unique way.
I must say the Grand Willow Inn is a beautiful location to hold a wedding. Their attention to decorating the dining room with all the twinkle lights really pays off for shots like this. Feel the Love!
