Diana and Jesper went with us to the Christmas lights celebration here along with what seemed like a thousand other people. It was like Disneyland. And covered in lights of every color to simulate garden plants, flowers, birds, spiders, and even slugs. As you can see from the following images, it also made for some great photography!

A super fast departure from Lindsay and Ramon’s reception! Maybe he was trying to catch up with the white dove that Lindsay released earlier.
What can I say? The kids at our weddings have fun too. These two loved hamming it up for the camera at Lindsay and Ramon’s wedding. Oddly enough they had some song they were singing as they lept into the air. They kept shouting Suuuperman! Suuuperman!
Well, in the spirit of their fun, I had a little fun with their photo too!
Meet our love doves. These guys have the most gentle temperament you can imagine.
They are very social and will travel long distances to return to their place of birth and be back with their own flock.
But they are strong fliers and can easily cover 40-60 miles in just an hour if they have had some training for the landmarks along the way. To prepare for wedding releases and to help make a speedy flight home, these guys must be released at gradually increasing distances along the flight path from the wedding site to their home.
It’s pretty time consuming to ready the birds for the wedding season, but they do enjoy the race home and you can tell they do it with wonderful enthusiasm.
